Storage Solutions Architect

The Solution Architect is a key member of the SMB Solution Management team and is responsible for the overall design of the end to end Storage solution and mapping customer business requirements to systems/technical requirements. The Solution Architect works as a team member along with the Solution Product Manager (Storage), Storage Hardware & Software Architects and supporting team members to deliver the complete solution for the customer.

  • Participate in Storage process flow analysis and process redesign along with the Storage Solution Manager
  • Share best practices and be consultative to customer throughout duration of the project
  • Produce a detailed functional design document to match customer requirements
  • Develop SMB Solution related to NAS, SAN and Software Defined technologies
  • Complete and co/implement a configuration and deployment guides
  • Co-team with the Storage Hardware and Software Architects to produce a technical specification for the Solution
  • Provide current best practice and 3rd Party solution alternatives as part of the functional design document
  • Participate in training design, documentation and delivery efforts in concert with the Storage Solution Manager
  • Participate and lead, when needed, project meetings with the customer
  • Participate in internal meetings as required


  • Ability to understand business requirements and convert them into solution designs
  • Knowledge of web-based systems architecture, service-based architecture, SMB application architecture as well as experience managing expectations when balancing alternatives against business and financial constraints
  • Must demonstrate good judgment and pragmatic approach to delivering a solution that optimizes architecture activities across company needs, business constraints and technological realities
  • Should have participated in, and be familiar with, H/W & S/W and Agile (Scrum) project methodologies
  • 10-15 years of relevant experience in Product and/or Solution architectures
  • 3-6 years of integration and/or implementation experience between H/W & S/W

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Expert team skills and ability to cross functionally drive/influence work through others, ability to mentor and lead teams to achieve results for complex, ambiguous projects.
  • Expert skills in cost efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation and analysis.
  • Expert business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection.
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry and ability to provide product specific technical training to the team.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
