Saw Operator (1648-146)

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
Ensure raw material is received from vendors correctly, including the correct color painted on both ends of the bars for identification, all paperwork turned into the appropriate people, and material placed in its assigned location.
Deliver finished parts to appropriate departments.
Efficient operation of the saw machine to produce accurate parts.
Follow QA procedures to include review of blueprints or drawings to verify adherence to specifications.
Assist coworkers when needed in training and/or production.
Keep the CRS area stocked with oils and coolant.
Utilize a forklift to move objects
Pre-Employment Requirements:
Drug and alcohol test
Motor Vehicle Check (Must be 21 to drive company vehicle)
Required Skills
Good oral and written communication skills, especially the ability to follow written and spoken instructions.
Good math and analytical skills.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Basic blue print reading and interpretation skills.
Basic tool skills, including the ability to use a tape measure, calipers and micrometers.
Basic organizational and time management skills.
Basic computer skills.
Required Experience
Up to two years of relevant experience.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
