Storage Solutions Product Manager

IT investment by Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) has been increasing at a rapid pace. Hewlett Packard Enterprise is uniquely positioned to capitalize on this trend with our customer focus, diverse hardware and software assets and our commitment to open, scalable solutions. Our end-to-end solutions will be anchored on a strong storage strategy and our capabilities spanning from applications running either on premise or on cloud. This is a newly-formed Storage Solutions Product Management position on a highly energized and experienced team within Hewlett Packard Enterprise SMB Solutions group. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and managing relationships with SMB partnersas well aswithin HPE Storage organization. The primary purpose of the role is to identify storage use cases targeting SMB (1-1000 employee size companies) that leverage several technologies such as NAS, SAN, Software Defined etc. Also included in the responsibilities is developing Hewlett Packard Enterprise s voice in thosestorage partnercommunities as well as help feed back the requirements to our product planning teams. The ideal candidate will have the acumen to handle both complex and ambiguous situations and multiple responsibilities simultaneously mixing long term projects with the urgency of immediate demands. The right individual will be self-motivated, a strong collaborator, able to think creatively and strong with numbers. Ability to work with others to find solutions, drive execution, and focus on results

Designs, plans, develops and manages a product or portfolio of products throughout the solution portfolio lifecycle: from new product definition or enhancements to existing products; planning, design, forecasting, and production; to end of life.

Responsibilities:

Leads and drives the end to end strategy and operational product roadmap for a product Defines the value proposition, target customer segments, and business case to bring one or more innovative and disruptive products to market with respect to the whole company product portfolio (i. e. Product configuration mix, Revenue/Margins, financials, market share) Synthesizes market requirements (MRD) into marketing/customer details through having intimate customer knowledge and business, financial and industry market acumen Advises key stakeholders on the portfolio strategy across all phases of the lifecycle (e. g., planning, development, launch, management, exit) Creates goal alignment and collaborates across value chain partners to optimize margins and enable success of product per plans across the product lifecycle. (ie. Engineering: product development, Supply Chain: SKUs, inventory and Marketing: marketing and pricing strategies and Go To Market Plan)

Education and Experience Required:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering or related field of study. MBA or advanced degree in computer science or engineering preferred. 4+ years of work experience in related field. Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry.

Knowledge and Skills: Demonstrated ability to develop product strategy and lead teams to achieve results. Demonstrated skills in cost efficient solution building, financial performance metric creation and analysis. Demonstrated business acumen and knowledge of root cause analysis and problem detection. Technical understanding and knowledge of the relevant industry and ability to provide product specific technical training to the team.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
